nIR Seed sorter
The National Manufacturing NIR Seed Sorter is a comparative sorter which sorts seed samples based primarily on protein content. The sorter uses light in the visual and near infrared (NIR) spectrum to detect the protein difference in a sample. The seed sorter takes this information and determines whether or not the seed is accepted or rejected. When rejected, a pulse of air will send the seed down a reject shoot into a separate container.
